Drowning in Weather and Traffic
School has started. All those fuckers out there with stupid kids are choking up the roads. Not to mention, the weather has been so fucked up recently; humid, like the ass-end of a river troll. Nothing like getting home and feeling like you've just visited the Turkish baths, whether you like it or not.

Kuwait Traffic Police Shenanigans: Case #674
Nearly took part in an involuntary pile-up on the slip road heading onto the sixth ring road off the fifty-five, because a cop decided to cut across from the overtaking lane and come to a complete stop on the narrow shoulder where the slip road begins.
Bad idea? I think so!

Dear Webmasters, why do Web Surfers Block ads?
BECAUSE THEY CAN HARBOUR MALICIOUS SCRIPTS AND WE DON'T TRUST THEM. Thank you for NOT asking me to please disable my ad blocker just so you can line your pockets and I can risk threats to my computer.
Seriously, I'm tired of websites drowning in ads asking me to disable my only insurance against questionable scripts. You may be signed up to the best ad providers out there, but I still don't trust them, neither do I want sixteen billion flashing images blinding me, nor audio or video suddenly blasting in the background.
If my contribution (or lack of it) leads to you having to close down your site, well commiserations my friend, but I'll probably find what I need elsewhere without the obnoxious advertising.
For those interested in good script and ad blocking extensions for chrome (and I believe Firefox also has the same) check out Ad Block Plus and Ghostery. They've made my surfing experience a true ad-free joy.

Sims 4 Beginner's Impressions
I had posted a Sims 4 entry prior to this one about how people are getting their panties in a twist over missing features in Sims 4, and now that I have finally played some of the game I can vent even more about the dumb dumbs out there complaining.
First of all, the game is robust enough without all the things people have been complaining about.
I'll start off talking a bit about the career systems, since that's one of the bigger changes I noticed. The sims I have created have both sought employment, one as an artist, the other an astronaut. The first thing I noticed was a job leaves little room for other stuff unless it's the weekend.

Thanks bro, you're swell
There are a great many things I would gladly accept from family, gifts and praise among them, but let's leave illnesses out of this relationship, please. I beg you.
*Has a coughing fit*
Regular scheduling shall resume after I've kicked this cold's ass. Once it's done kicking mine.

The Sims 4 and False Expectations
So, I've been hearing all this flack Sims 4 is getting about the whole direction EA is going with preventing the possibility of reviews before the game's release. I've also been seeing people linking lists about what will or will not be included, and how so many people are getting their tits in a twist over how Maxis--or whoever the fuck is developing this rendition--are not combining all their favourite things and wrapping them in brown paper and string to be delivered in the finished product.
HELLO?!
First of all, there is never a finished product when you're talking about Sims anything. And the reason for this is...
SALES! Everyone should be aware by now, when purchasing ANYTHING from Electronic Arts, that they are essentially signing a contract with the devil (a company who wants to sell you shit). Case in point, the Sims franchise.

Addiction out of control. Also, Pokémon.
So I got a new 3DS XL. Anyone who knows me could tell you that logically I shouldn't even be writing a blog post about it, because I'd be glued to my games and wouldn't have the willpower to turn myself away. You ought feel privileged, two people following me, for I tore myself away from mine addiction just to bring deliverance unto thy souls.
For though I am a woman wrapped in the sin of gluttony, from whence the wellspring of my attachment to the visceral visual arts of the Nintendo demon's sibilant cajoling tongue waxes strong, I still perceive with unabashed pride the writhing masses expectantly awaiting my words of wisdom. And these words condensed into a singularity of truth spell: Pokémon.
Oh vile and treacherous creature of lustful desire. With thine Pikachu and depravity of pokéballism. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME, VILE CREATURE? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE???
TL;DR, the 3DS is AMAZING and ADDICTIVE AS FUCK. You should get one. Also, be my friend.

Maybe I Like English Better, So What?
Localization is one of my pet peeves, and Google is beginning to piss me off with its stubborn Arabic language switching and forcing users to use localized versions of their services. STOP IT. Maybe I don't want to swim in the same pool as all the mouth breathers I'm forced to live with here, maybe I want to broaden my intellect, instead of enclose it within the tight confines of my closed-minded local community. Also, I suck at Arabic, stop reminding me how shitty I am at reading and understanding it. My first language is English.
Also, stop insisting that I should use the .kw suffix for all of my internet browsing needs. I DON'T WANT TO BE PIGEONHOLED BY ASSHOLES I DON'T KNOW AND COULD GIVE A SHIT ABOUT. So, kindly get the fuck out of my browser's cookies, and do something worthwhile, like changing how onerous the Google+ setup process feels, or stopping YouTube from trying to plaster my real name all over the Interverse.
Thank you.
